Our process

From vision to reality.

A catio is a real construction project on your property. Here's exactly how I work, so there are no surprises.

01

Free consultation

I come to your home — anywhere in the Albuquerque metro — and we walk the space together. We talk about your cats, what you want for them, what your yard or balcony allows, HOA considerations, and your rough budget. No charge, no pressure.

02

3D design

I model your catio in 3D using Cinema 4D, placed in your actual space with accurate dimensions. You see exactly what you're getting — the materials, the ramps, the access door, the climbing structures — before any wood is cut. We iterate until it's right.

03

Quote & timeline

Once the design is locked, you get a fixed quote and a build timeline. No surprise costs, no scope creep. Most projects start within 2–3 weeks of approval depending on the season.

04

Build & install

On-site construction with weather-rated materials — galvanized steel mesh, sealed cedar or treated lumber, stainless hardware. Most catios are complete in 2–4 days. I clean up everything when I leave.

05

Walkthrough

I walk you through the finished catio — how to close it up at night, what to watch for over the first few weeks, when to re-seal the wood. You get my number for any follow-up questions, anytime.
