Our process

From vision to reality.

A catio is a real construction project on your property. Here's exactly how I work, so there are no surprises.

01

Initial contact

Once you've reached out, I'll send you information on our design and build services and how to prepare to get the most out of a consultation. We'll then schedule a complimentary visit at your home. Note: if you belong to an HOA, approval will need to be obtained before we meet.

02

Site visit

The process starts by meeting you — and of course, your cats — to learn their personalities and any special needs. We'll review potential catio locations, discuss access points, and talk through design ideas. I'll also bring samples of wood, wire, and roofing materials so you can see and feel what goes into the build.

03

Estimate with 3D design

After the site visit, I'll model your catio in 3D and provide a detailed cost estimate within about 7 days. Once you give the paws up, a 50% deposit is due when you sign the purchase order. The remaining balance is due the day the build is complete.

04

Construction

Once the estimate is approved, we'll lock in a build date, order materials, and deliver them — typically one day before construction begins. I'll then be on-site to build a custom catio for you and your fur family to enjoy.

Sample renders

What your catio could look like.

Every design starts as a 3D render built around your actual space. Here are recent examples from real client projects.
